Laminate is a multi -layer flooring, which consists of the top – a polymer layer, the inner – chipboard, also decorative paper, which creates a coloring, and a substrate. Some have a special coating that does not allow dirt to absorb the material, others – even more special additives that increase the level of operational characteristics. Laminated coating has many advantages. First of all, this is a low price (compared to parquet and tiles), as well as ease of installation. Laying a laminate, just snap the locks on its boards to form the whole flooring. In addition, it has a high level of wear resistance, which allows you to use it not only at home, but also in rooms with a large accumulation of people (kindergartens, cafes, offices). Along with positive qualities, the laminate has several disadvantages. It would not be possible to lay laminated boards well, the seams between them are not completely tight, which leads to damage to the flooring in rooms with high humidity.
